Casting has many advantages that forging
does not have. Most strong points are “Near
Net-shape”. Casting can provide its
shape as very close as your requirement without welding and/or machining, even
if high hardness materials like abrasion-resistant alloy and un-machine-ability
materials like high nickel alloys, heat-resistant alloys, and a some corrosion-resistant
alloys.
And the other strong point is: Casting can
produce large quantity by same shape with lower cost, but small quantity
requirement should be also available.
Especially, for cylindrically-shape, our Centrifugally Casting Process
can easily produce large-diameter and/or heavy-walled items by lower cost compare
with forging which always asks to customer for certain large volume.
